Photopipe

Terms of Service

Last updated: February 23, 2026

1. Scope

These Terms govern your use of Photopipe, including our website and software services for managing photo workflows. By using Photopipe, you agree to these Terms.

2. Minimal data processing approach

We are intentionally data-minimal. We collect only the information required to run, secure, and debug the service. We design our systems to assume that any stored data could one day be exposed, so we minimize collection, limit retention, and reduce unnecessary copies whenever possible.

3. Email collection for tracking, logs, and debugging

We may process your email address for these purposes:

  • Account access and service communications.
  • Security events (for example suspicious login notifications).
  • Operational diagnostics and support, including linking debug logs to a user account when necessary to investigate incidents.
  • Product analytics at an aggregated level, using pseudonymous identifiers wherever practical instead of raw personal data.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use email content for unrelated advertising targeting.

4. Legal bases and regional rights

For users in the EEA, UK, and similar jurisdictions, we rely on contract necessity, legitimate interests (service reliability and security), and consent where legally required. For users in the US, we honor applicable federal and state privacy rights, including rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out where required by law.

Where consent is required for certain analytics or tracking technologies, we request consent before activation and provide withdrawal mechanisms.

5. Retention and deletion

  • Authentication and account records are retained while your account is active.
  • Application and infrastructure logs are retained for the shortest practical period needed for security and debugging, then deleted or anonymized.
  • When legally and technically possible, we delete or anonymize personal data upon valid request and account closure.

6. Data security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational controls (such as encryption in transit, access control, and least-privilege practices). No system is perfectly secure, but we seek to reduce risk by storing less data and limiting exposure surfaces.

7. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining account credential security and for ensuring you have lawful rights to upload and process photos and related data in Photopipe.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect legal, technical, or product changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

9. Contact for privacy and legal requests

Send privacy, access, or deletion requests to privacy@photopipe.app.
